| As the President
and founder of J R Events, Julie Reed’s experience spans for
more than 25 years. From a competition
winner in the UK to Southern California, Julie
has had the opportunity to work on the floral designs of high profile
events such as the Emmy Awards, The
Golden Globes, Fox Studios, Walt Disney Productions, Warner Brothers
Movies and NBC Studios. Julie Reed
has also had the privilege of working as a designer for many celebrity
events and award
winning Rose Parade floats.
To
stay abreast of the latest industry trends, she is an educator
holding a CA Vocational teacher’s
credential and currently teaches at the Community College
of Southern Nevada. Julie Reed is also a member of the Internationally Certified Association of the American Institute
of Floral Designers, making her one
of only 1,300 worldwide to achieve this certification.
She strives to fine-tune her trade through education, innovative
ideas, and the use of color, texture and materials.
